Join us at Dumke Arts Plaza on Oct. 29 at 6 p.m. for the opening of La Vrille, a new public art installation by Paris-based artist elparo.
elparo has created large-scale public art in his home country, Belgium, Canada, England, Germany, Japan, Italy, Lebanon, Luxembourg, Mongolia, New Zealand, Portugal, Romania, Togo, Saudi Arabia, and South Africa. His debut work in the United States is La Vrille for Dumke Arts Plaza in Ogden. Working primarily with wood and upcycled materials, elparo’s site-responsive sculptures appear to defy gravity, inviting viewers to have new experiences with familiar spaces.
