Spanish Guitar Concert by Antonio Garcia

Experience the expressive beauty of Spanish guitar in a classical concert by internationally performing guitarist Antonio Garcia whose music blends the refined tone of classical guitar with the rhythmic passion of flamenco traditions.

Visiting Artist Lecture by Jacobo Alonso

Join us for a Visiting Artist Lecture with Jacobo Alonso on Thursday, March 26 at 6 p.m. in Kimball Arts Room 143.

Alonso’s multidisciplinary practice—spanning sculpture, installation, and socially engaged projects—examines systems of power, migration, labor, and the human cost embedded within political language, often transforming official documents and materials into tactile, thought-provoking works.

La Bestia Film Screening

Join us Thursday, Feb. 5 at 6 p.m. in Kimball Arts 143 for an artist talk with Camille Hoffman, whose layered, mixed-media practice reimagines landscape, identity, and history.

This event is presented in collaboration with Ogden Contemporary Arts in conjunction with their new RECLAMATION exhibition featuring Hoffman’s immersive work exploring heritage and land.

Weber State University will host a one-day symposium in partnership with Ogden Contemporary Arts.

Panel Discussion on the Intersection of Science & Art

Join us on Friday, Oct. 3 at 6 p.m. for a panel discussion with Dr. Bonnie Baxter and the artists of This was water Kellie Bornhoft and Carey Campbell. 

Dr. Baxter shared data and expertise that helped conceptualize the work around the exhibition This was water at the Dumke Arts Plaza.

This was water - Remnants In Motion

Please join us on Friday, Sept. 5  at the Dumke Arts Plaza from 7:30-8:30 p.m. for a special live performance by Weber State's Dance Program. 
The performance will center around the current exhibition at the plaza, This was water by Kellie Bornhoft and Carey Campbell.

Choreography created by ԹϹ Dance Program students and alumni, mentored by Roxanne Gray, Dmitri Peskov, and Rebekah JoAnn Guerra.

Join us on Sept. 11, 2025 at 6 p.m. in KA 143 for a lecture by visiting artist Jill Downen, past recipient of a Guggenheim Fellowship and juror for the 2025 student exhibition. Downen is Associate Professor and Chair of Sculpture at Kansas City Art Institute.
