Graduation Steps

  1. Verify that you have completed all requirements on your Honors Contract.
    Check your requirements by visiting the and selecting “My Contracts.”
  2. Submit the Honors Graduation Application by the appropriate deadline.
    If you do not complete this form, you will not graduate with Honors.

Planning to Walk but Not Graduate Yet?

If you plan to participate in commencement and convocation this semester but will complete your degree in a future term, please contact the Honors Program directly.

Honors Regalia

Regalia & Recognition

  • Honors graduates receive official Honors regalia to wear at commencement.
  • All students receive a certificate of completion signed by the Honors Director and University President.
  • Your Honors distinction will be noted on your official transcript and diploma.

Regalia pickup options are indicated in the Graduation Application. The easiest option is attending the Ogden Campus Grad Finale, but you may also pick up from the Honors Center or request mailing if needed.

Graduation Deadlines

October 1 — Fall Graduates
March 1 — Spring Graduates
August 1 — Summer Graduates

Submit your Honors Graduation Application by the deadline even if you will not finish your honors requirements until the end of the semester.
