What is SAT?
SAT I and SAT II Tests are entrance exams that are used at many colleges and universities. Students applying to ³Ô¹Ï¹ÙÍø who have not taken an entrance exam should take the ACT. However, SAT scores are accepted at ³Ô¹Ï¹ÙÍø.
The SAT I is a three-hour test, primarily multiple-choice, that measures verbal and mathematical reasoning abilities.
The SAT II Subject Tests are one-hour, primarily multiple-choice tests in specific subjects.
At most schools, only the SAT I is required. The SAT II is sometimes required or recommended for placement purposes or for admission into specific programs.
