
Systems Engineering and Sustainable Engineering Post Baccalaureate Certificate
The Industry-based Post-Bachelor’s Certificate in Systems Engineering and Sustainable Engineering is a launching point for gainful employment in the aerospace/manufacturing workplace, professional certification within the International Council of Systems Engineering (INCOSE), and continuing education toward a Master of Science in Systems Engineering.
In addition, we also offer a strategic education course, SE 6010: Foundations of Systems Engineering, that can be taken independently or as part of Weber’s graduate certificate or master’s degree. The graduate certificate fulfills 12 credits toward an MSSE degree.
Systems Engineering and Sustainable Engineering Certificate Admissions & Requirements
The admission committee reviews the entire professional portfolio and seeks applicants who demonstrate a commitment to systems thinking and participation in the systems community.
Application Requirements & Deadlines
Successful applicants will have:
- A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
- An interest in entering the systems engineering community or advancing a career in industries such as defense, Aerospace, Energy, or Healthcare
- Submission of a complete application by the desired semester deadline:
- If you are applying for the spring semester, the deadline is October 1.
- If you are applying for the fall semester, the deadline is May 1.
Admission Requirements
- Bachelor's degree completion before enrollment
- 3.0 GPA
- Completion of Calculus I and Calculus-Based Statistics
