WHY HUMAN RESOURCES

I chose to be an HR major because I want to make a positive impact on the employee experience and company culture at the place I work at. I want to be a partner for the company and a voice for the employees.

ABUNDANT OPPORTUNITIES

The thing that stands out to me about my time at ³Ô¹Ï¹ÙÍø is the opportunities available to students who are looking for them. There are so many options for clubs, student organizations, mentorships, etc. I always felt supported and it felt like there were people championing my growth. 

PROFESSOR IMPACT

Rachel Child is a fantastic professor who is incredibly knowledgeable in her field. She truly wants her students to succeed.

Andrew Kinsley was also a fantastic professor who really challenged me in my academic career. He was extremely willing to help and made me become a better student. 

ADVICE FOR FUTURE STUDENTS

Look for the many opportunities around you. Take advantage of office hours and look for a mentor during your time. Having a support system is super important and you have to be an active participant in your success.

WHAT'S NEXT

I hope to continue at ³Ô¹Ï¹ÙÍø in the MBA program and find a hobby haha!
