Latin American Studies Co-Lab
Under the auspices of the Matthew S. Browning Design Lab, The Latin American Studies Co-Lab (LASCOLAB) convenes faculty and students at all stages of their respective trajectories who share an interest in collaborative inquiry related to Latin American and Latinx cultures. Through cross-pollination, vertical integration, and human-centered design, we elevate the experience of shared discovery through the sustained pursuit of high-impact learning experiences. Our interdisciplinary expertise facilitates the dynamic exchange of ideas, promotes research on Latin America and Hispanic cultures of the U.S., and supports ³Ô¹Ï¹ÙÍø’s mission to become an Emerging Hispanic-Serving Institution. Crucially, we produce, present, and publish research, guide students along their respective paths of investigation, and serve as an important node of inquiry within the university.
