While ³Ô¹Ï¹ÙÍø has significantly there is work to be done reducing the greenhouse gas emissions and environmental impacts associated with university purchasing. Every individual, procurement specialist, and department purchasing on behalf of ³Ô¹Ï¹ÙÍø has an opportunity to help the University reduce its environmental impact. To ensure that ³Ô¹Ï¹ÙÍø's sustainability goals are achieved, it is the University's preference that all personnel purchase and use environmentally preferable products wherever practicable.
³Ô¹Ï¹ÙÍø has outlined green purchasing guidelines for the nine product categories below. For products and services that are not within one of the nine categories below, can be utilized by ³Ô¹Ï¹ÙÍø personnel to select environmentally preferable products.
