The ³Ô¹Ï¹ÙÍø Summer Medical Academy, hosted by the Dr. Ezekiel R. Dumke Family Pre-Medical Professional Program and the ³Ô¹Ï¹ÙÍø American Medical Student Association, is designed for high school juniors and seniors to determine if a career in the healthcare industry is right for them.
- Attendees learn how to best prepare for admission to professional schools and make the most of their college experience with ³Ô¹Ï¹ÙÍø student mentors.
- ³Ô¹Ï¹ÙÍø faculty members lead discussions and hands-on laboratory activities.
- Attendees explore the benefits of a clinical career with local healthcare professionals and patients who have experienced their expert care.
Participating in the Medical Academy Summer Camp provides invaluable opportunities to network with ³Ô¹Ï¹ÙÍø professors and other professional specialists who will aid them in their professional endeavors. The $350 cost covers a t-shirt, lodging, meals, and lab supplies.
