Weber State University: Cybersecurity Initiative (³Ô¹Ï¹ÙÍøCI)
The objective of the Weber State University Cybersecurity Initiative (³Ô¹Ï¹ÙÍøCI) is to be the central location and resource of information for Weber State's cybersecurity curriculum, practice, industry partnership, and community outreach.
The program of study that is supported by the ³Ô¹Ï¹ÙÍøCI includes exciting classes in the fundamentals of programming, introductions to local area network management, data routing theory and practices, switch and router configuration, advanced local area network security management, introductions to cyber-ethics and security policies, and introductions to various scripting languages.
³Ô¹Ï¹ÙÍøCI draws on the expertise of multiple disciplines within Weber State University, including computer science, information systems management, and health information professionals. Students are also encouraged to take on leadership positions through internship opportunities and through ³Ô¹Ï¹ÙÍø leadership experiences.
The Cybersecurity and Network Management major at ³Ô¹Ï¹ÙÍø emphasizes security in all classes!
