Cynthia works to translate the complexity of water and sustainability into actionable messages and processes as the Communications and Outreach Manager for Utah Water Ways. She holds a bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture from Utah State University and helped develop and popularize the "Localscapes" method-- a means to produce landscapes that fit rather than fight Utah's climate. As the Great Salt Lake continues to decline and water-efficiency standards are codified statewide, winning public support for waterwise landscapes will become more important for Utah's future than ever before.
